Why work at Etacts?

Etacts is reorganizing all your communications around people. Today, you email someone, call them a few days later, and then facebook them a week afterwards. But your conversation and relationship with the person is fragmented across different messages. We're taking a fresh new look at the space by extracting and focusing on what really matters-your relationships, not individual messages. The result is an actionable, monetizable service that helps you stay in touch with the people you care about.

You'll have the unique opportunity to make meaningful impact in an early stage, fast-moving tech startup with the support of the most respected investors in Silicon Valley.

Who we're looking for.

You should be ready and excited to learn and play with a variety of different technologies. You need the capability to think outside the box, since what we're building involves new, interesting problems-both from a technical and product standpoint. We're experimenting with email, mobile, and social media data and interfaces in ways never done before and opening up exciting new opportunities.

We run Python + Django, MySQL, Cassandra, and run some pretty heavy-duty Javascript (client-side MVC). We're building mobile apps, and integrating new front-ends (our Gmail plugin is just the tip of the iceberg).

We're ALWAYS looking for rockstar engineers of any kind, but here's some specific positions we have open:

Please send a portfolio of your work (links to live sites or source code is best) and a resume (only if you have one) to [email protected]. Have a talent that's not listed here? Email us at [email protected].

You'll make more impact than anywhere else.

As the first members of a fast-growing team, you'll get unparalleled flexibility and freedom to contribute your full potential. Features are thought up and created in hours. Decisions are made in minutes, not weeks. Your efforts will impact users immediately.

Work with Etacts, and you'll help guide a company with enormous momentum and opportunity. You'll have high-energy conversations about new ideas every day-and they'll be valued and implemented, not lost and forgotten in bureaucracy.

The most fun, EVER!

Based in sunny San Francisco, our office is always fun, laid back, and chock full of unlimited Monsters and Red Bulls. Never a dress code. A sense of humor is a requisite.

We'll equip you with whatever arsenal it takes for you to be most productive. And we'll hang out at some of the best bars and restaurants in the city - all right outside our office doors (just search Yelp for 15th/Valencia!).
